Improving Motivation In Schizophrenia
Join me on my walk as I explain how schizophrenia has made it difficult for me to participate in regular life activities, including exercising, driving, and recreational activities. Lack of motivation in schizophrenia is called avolition. Avolition is a “negative” symptom of schizophrenia, which causes decreased motivation to complete goal-directed actions. I have set a goal to increase my motivation to engage in activities!
