My schizophrenia causes fear and paranoia. I talk about some of the fears I have experienced since the onset of my schizophrenia in 2012. These fears include being watched, death, and the afterlife. Fears are part of the paranoia in schizophrenia. Although I am doing much better now than ever, some of these fears persist. Paranoia is a “positive” symptom of schizophrenia.
